Activity at Station A:  Scanning

Automated Solutions for obtaining data

There are currently two solutions for scanning students results and directly importing them into the Benchmark Analysis tool. Although CTAP Region IV and RSDSS do not recommend a specific company or product, both of these solutions have been tested with the Benchmark tool to ensure they work well.

At Station A, teams of workshop participants will use CTAP Equipment and practice scanning in data.  There will be two scanner machines.  On one, you will practice using scantron cards.  On the other, use paper data to input information.

Other activities:

While one person is scanning, the others will be working on standards alignment using Grade 3 & 8 standards.  Teams will align the first five questions from the CTAP sample test books with the appropriate standard.
